Investment honors memory of foundation founder George Wile and Elizabeth Wile
A donation from the L.I.F.E. Foundation invests in research pilot funding, an innovative brain health study and a one-year fellowship training in neurodegenerative disease research. University of Cincinnati alumni and L.I.F.E. Foundation trustees said the gift honors the memory of L.I.F.E. Foundation co-founder George Wile and his wife, Elizabeth. Wile was a long-time supporter of the UC College of Medicine and a UC Foundation trustee.
New UC Center for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Diseases Research to advance dementia research, treatment and education
The University of Cincinnati and UC Health have launched the Center for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Diseases Research (CANDR), a multidisciplinary initiative that integrates research with clinical and educational expertise to improve dementia prevention and treatment outcomes throughout the Greater Cincinnati community and beyond.
